Welcome to the Green Lane Crew

If you have a road legal off-road motorcycle and want to ride the green lanes with like-minded people then The Green Lane Crew is the club to join - FREE. It's all about simply getting out there and riding your bike regardless of your ability or off-road experience. Sign yourself up on the forum and you will see when and where people are riding and lots of other pointless gossip. It's all light-hearted banter and not meant to offend anyone - we just want to ride the byways and green lanes without any drama's - it's our right and if we don't get out there and ride we will lose them all!

No bike or experience?

We can help you there too! We know that there are a lot of people out there who would like to have a go at trail riding but are put off with by the costs involved in buying a bike, all the gear, not knowing where they can ride and then finding it was not for them anyway!

We have done a deal with TrailWorld Limited where if you join the GLC forum and have posted at least 5 times then you will qualify for discounts on their training schools (no motorcycle licence required) and Home Counties off-road tours (motorcycle licence required). On top of that you can even get discounts of off tours in Spain with Andalucian Trail Tours! All kit and bikes are provided so you can have a go at riding off-road without the expense of buying all the kit! All you have to do is mention the GLC and give your forum name when booking and you get the discount! That is reason enough to join the GLC!!

NEW - Post your own ride reports and news

We have now set up a brand new NEWS section where not only can you read what the GLC are up to, but also post your own news, pictures, videos events and ride reports. It is REALLY simple to use, all you have to do to start posting is send Paulus the Woodgnome a personal message on the forum with an email address that you want to use to post from. Once you are authorised you simply email: post@thegreenlanecrew.posterous.com and include any attachments such as photographs etc and it will all automatically appear on the news section.

Contribute!

It's all well and good having a nice website that none of you oiks have to pay for but if no-one contributes then the site becomes boring! If you have anything that you would like to appear in the features section or in the news then LET US KNOW!! You can email features for inclusion on this site by emailing Paulus the Woodgnome (click here) or by sending him a PM on the forum and he will try to sort it for you.

Advertise on this site from just £10

If you want to promote you products or services on the GLC website then that is possible in four ways. A simple link to your website costs just £10 per year and will appear in the links section. Small adds within the site (usually on the right hand side as this page) but not on the Home Page cost £50 per year. An article promoting yourself on the features page costs £150 per year which can be a full page including images, videos etc. And finally, if you want to appear on the front page (see right hand side) it will cost you £250 per year. By advertising on this website you will not only be helping your own company, you will be helping to keep the GLC website up and running as it is not cheap to have a wonderful site like this one!
